ProTELEC is a family-owned, Winnipeg based Security and Safety company that has been

protecting life and property in Western Canada for over 50 years.  We install, service and

monitor:

  • Security systems (burglary, hold-up, duress, medical).

  • Fire and Sprinkler systems

  • Environmental (A/C power loss, temperature, humidity, water flow and leakage, carbon

  • monoxide and other gas detection, etc.)

  • Access Control systems

  • Cameras/Video systems

  • Working Alone

Our ULC certified Emergency Monitoring Centre, located at our Winnipeg head office, focuses

on prevention and early-detection to save property managers time and money. Two examples

are:

  • Monitored perimeter video with two-way audio enable our professionally trained

  • emergency operators to prevent break-ins by “greeting” potential intruders and talking

  • them off the property.

  • Waterflow monitoring can detect leaks before serious property damage occurs and our

  • water-usage analytics will alert you to properties consuming more water than they should.

Their main contact, Nicole Miller, has been with Uponor (formerly Wirsbo) for 23+ years and covers the Manitoba/Saskatchewan Prairie provinces in a Sales Manager role.


Uponor AquaPEX has been installed in a large number of Manitoba projects from re-pipe to new construction and we have technical, design, and sales support to help developers and property managers navigate the best options for their projects. Efficiency Manitoba is a Crown corporation committed to achieving significant annual energy savings targets by offering cost‑effective programs and services to Manitobans.


Our legislated mandate is to develop and support energy efficiency initiatives that will reduce provincial consumption of electricity by 1.5% and natural gas by 0.75% annually. In the process of reducing provincial consumption of natural gas, we enable significant greenhouse gas emissions reductions.


We’re currently implementing our first three-year (2020-23) plan for energy efficiency in Manitoba. We’re excited to offer programs and initiatives contributing to meeting Manitobans’ needs for energy while helping reduce the impact of energy rate increases.
